FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to our 3D Printing Hub! Whether you’re a seasoned “fidgeter” or looking for your first desk toy, we’ve got you covered. Here are the answers to the questions we get asked most often.

🛠️ General & Product Info

What is 3D printing, and how are these made? Most of our fidgets are made using FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology. This involves melting a plastic filament and layering it precisely to build the object from the ground up.

What material do you use? Is it safe? We primarily use PLA (Polylactic Acid). It is a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources like corn starch. It is non-toxic and generally odorless, making it perfect for handheld toys. Other filaments we use are PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycolfor). PETG has excellent durability, flexibility, and impact resistance, combining the ease of printing like PLA with the toughness of ABS, making it great for functional parts, outdoor use due to UV/chemical resistance, and even food-safe applications.

Do the “Infinity Cubes” or “Articulated Dragons” come pre-assembled? Yes! One of the miracles of 3D printing is “Print-in-Place” technology. Hinges and joints are printed already interlocked, so your fidget works right out of the box with no assembly required.

📦 Shipping & Orders

How long does it take to receive my order? Because we print many items to order to allow for custom colors, please allow 3-5 business days for production. Shipping times vary by location but usually take an additional 3-5 days.

Can I request a custom color combination? Absolutely! If you don’t see the color combo you want in the dropdown menu, send us a message through our contact page. We have a rainbow of filaments available, including:

  • Silk/Shiny: For a metallic look.
  • Matte: For a smooth, professional feel.
  • Color-Changing: Transitions based on temperature or viewing angle.

⚠️ Troubleshooting & Care

My fidget feels a little “stiff.” Is it broken? New 3D prints can sometimes have tiny “micro-welds” or friction from the printing process. Usually, playing with the toy for 5–10 minutes will “break it in,” making the movement buttery smooth.

How do I clean my fidget toy? A damp cloth with mild soap works best. Do not put them in the dishwasher or leave them in a hot car (above 60°C/140°F), as PLA can soften and warp under high heat.

Is there a choking hazard? Yes. While our prints are sturdy, 3D prints can occasionally break into small pieces if dropped or handled roughly. Our products are not recommended for children under 3 years old.

🔄 Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy? Since many items are custom-made, we generally don’t accept returns for “change of mind.” However, if your item arrives damaged or has a printing defect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo, and we’ll send a replacement immediately!
